This was taken just inside the front door. Henry and Annie Mae McKeal built the arch for a birthday party which was held the night before. I caught Henry and Annie Mae the next day in the process of cleaning up the mess.

The table from which Little Milton sells his CDs and from where he hugs all the ladies and shakes hands with all the guys is to the left. The window of Annie Mae's Cafe is against the wall to the far left. The pool table sits to the right, the bar to the far right. The bandstand sits at the other end of the room, through the arch.

This is just after stepping through the arch. You can see the bar on the right and the bandstand in the background. If Annie Mae sees that I published this photo of her messy tables, I'm in trouble.

I turned around and took a photo of the pool table. That's the front door on the right of the photo.

Here's me standing in the bandstand. Ain't I a handsome dude? Somebody tell Julia Roberts about me.

Here's me and Annie Mae sitting at the bar. I just noticed that she's looking at me. She's probably thinking, Man, this is one strange white guy.

This is Annie Mae McKeal grinning for all you folks out there in Internet land. She's saying, "Y'all come see us here in Waterproof, Louisiana." She's a beautiful lady. Y'all go see her the first chance you get.

I decided to include these two photos taken outside the Disco 86 and taken at night.   The top photo is with a flash. You can barely see Henry McKeal standing in the door. He's wearing a white baseball cap.   The bottom photo is without a flash. It's supercool in my humble Delta bum opinion (IMHDBO).

Now, I ask y'all: Did I lie when I described the Disco 86 as "like walking
inside a Christmas tree"?
